Integration
InfraDesk enables integration with third party applications and service
providers through the following integration engines:
- XML Integration Engine
- Web Services Engine
- Bi-directional Email Engine
These engines allow you to carry out a multitude of
activities, a sample include:
- Enable Single Sign-On with a wide range of
authentication schemes ranging from Active Directory to LDAP
to wrapper security providers like JOSSO
- Ability to embed portlets within your intranet to access
data from our systems - be it Global Issues, Outages or any
other feature that you would like to leverage
- Ability to create and update Configuration Items in
InfraDesk as well as creating relationships with other CIs
to maintain an accurate inventory of IT infrastructure
- Events and/or alerts from monitoring solutions can be
sent in to create tickets and route to appropriate personnel
for quick and efficient restoration of IT services
- Import and export of data from the InfraDesk system in a
very flexible and highly automated fashion
